Meet The Owners of The Philadelphia Lightning
Tracey Specter
Tracey Specter has been making a huge impact in Philadelphia for over 30 years. Between all of her work running non-profit organizations and helping Universities like Drexel and Penn, Tracey is no stranger to supporting her city. Beyond her non-profit work, Tracey is a Life and Leadership Coach, where she has run her own business for the past 6 years. Outside of work, Tracey is the mother to 4 daughters and enjoys hiking, yoga, and is a triathlete.
B.G. Lemmon
B.G. Lemmon is a native to Philadelphia, having attended The Haverford School (a national high school squash powerhouse) before attending the University of Pennsylvania, where he played on the Squash Team for 4 years, serving as Captain his Senior Year. B.G. followed his College Squash Career by playing on the Pro Doubles Circuit (Squash Doubles Association, or SDA), where he attained he highest ranking of #32. Beyond Squash, B.G. works for his family business and is a father to twin daughters with a third on the way.
John White
John White and squash are pretty much synonymous. John is a former World #1 who hails from Australia. John is a former world record holder for the fastest squash ball ever hit, a title he held for nearly 25 years. Currently, John is the Head Coach of Drexel Squash, and he will be running the show from the sidelines for the Philadelphia Lightning.

Opening in 2021 as the anchor facility of the Community Affiliate Network, the Specter Center will utilize its 20 courts, located on the campus of Drexel University in Philadelphia in 1 of 22 federally-designated Promise Zones, the Community Initiative will focus on engaging the entire community under one roof: Squash + Education Alliance participants, after school programs, public schools and universities, community partners, area residents, all to be playing and socializing alongside recreational squash players, league players, all the way up to the Team USA women and men who will be in residence and training at the center.
